Cleveland removed any doubts about this one with a 29-0 run in the first half. Can you believe that, a 29-0 run? I could round up five guys from my Business Ethics class and we wouldn't give up a 29-0 run, not to any team in the world. Actually, I could round up five dogs from my dog Montana's dog-training class and they still probably wouldn't give up a run that outrageous.
Sounds incredible? It was. The Bucks suffered through a scoreless drought that lasted more than 11 minutes, and they never recovered in a lackluster 101-86 loss to the Cavaliers in a Sunday matinee game at the Bradley Center.
Milwaukee watched helplessly as a 17-10 lead was transformed into a 39-17 deficit. And the Cavaliers didn't even need much help from LeBron James during the run. He scored just three points early in the surge before heading to the bench, while Shaquille O'Neal was on the bench for the entire run.
Anyways, are you at all surprised that Milwaukee's fast start has given way to a tremendous fall from grace? Because I'm not. After all, they start guys named Carlos Delfino and Charlie Bell. Not exactly the recipe for NBA success.
As good as Brandon Jennings has been, this team has fallen back down to Earth, and it will be up to the Celtics to kick them while they're down on Tuesday night.
